Humanitarian Aid

The ASMF responds to natural disasters by offering valuable assistance to affected sleep disorders centers and patients to assure that medical care remains available in times of crisis.

The ASMF garners support from American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) members, sleep-affiliated companies and organizations, and other concerned individuals and groups. It then directs these resources where the losses are greatest, relying on local AASM members for first-hand accounts of the scope and extent of the region’s needs.

Addressing these sleep-related medical needs improves the health of distressed individuals and promotes the healing of devastated communities.
