Each year the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Sleep Research Society host the Discovering the Secrets of Sleep Fundraising Dinner. This event is both a celebration of sleep research and an opportunity for sleep professionals to show their support for the field.
All proceeds raised by the dinner support the grant programs of the American Sleep Medicine Foundation (ASMF) and the Sleep Research Society Foundation. A highlight of the evening is the announcement and introduction of the scientists who are receiving research grants from the two foundations.
The dinner is open to attendees of the SLEEP Annual Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies. Companies and organizations also have the opportunity to reserve a table for the evening as a Sponsor or Patron of the event.
